The Cell Station developed by S-biosystems GmbH is a next-generation cell culture optimiser that adheres to the philosophy: one cell culture, one incubator. This design philosophy standardises the incubation process by providing an independent monitorable cell cultivation module for each cell culture.

Each cell cultivation module comes with a swappable incubation housing. This housing as well as all accessories are gamma-irradiated to ensure absolute sterility at the start of every experiment.

Operation within a bio safety cabinet or any other sterile environment is possible without any interruption to the cultivation process. Each cell cultivation module can be transported and operated remotely for at least two hours.

The Cell Station comes with a robust documentation software that allows the user to review everything that has happened during the cultivation process:

  • Monitor temperature, humidity, and CO2 levels 24/7, from anywhere (if connected to the internet)
  • Get notified when the incubator module was opened and closed, or even dropped
  • Integrate seamlessly into a GMP environment by effortlessly exporting the incubation data to an excel sheet and printing it for user authorisation
