STG is pleased to announce that it officially opened its new Head Office at APV House in Newcastleunder- Lyme in May 2009. The new office is situated only 400m from its current production plant to enable the operation to continue to remain fully integrated. The new Head Office allows STG to grow its production, laboratory and stocking facilities at its current Speedwell Road site. “This is a fantastic move for us” said Chris Street, Director. We have now put in the next step of our infrastructure to allow us to continue be the best Speciality Gas company in Europe in terms of lead times, flexibility and competitiveness.

STG and Buzwair Industrial Gases announced the signing of an agreement to build a speciality gases plant in Qatar, Doha. STG will be responsible for assisting in the design of the plant, supplying the key components and the training of the gas mixing staff. Buzwair have been very active in developing their capability in Qatar to become one of the biggest independent gas companies in the region.

“We are delighted to be working even more closely with Buzwair in Qatar in helping develop the speciality gases market for both companies over the next few years” Said Chris Street, Director of STG. The plant is due for completion in November 2009.
