Latest Shoe Racks Brings Quicker Hygiene Routines a Step Closer
Jul 25 2018
Teknomek has reinvented its shoe rack range with a complete design overhaul to make the units easier to clean, offering all round access when washing down.
The racks are lighter and take less floor space than the previous models, and yet storage is now increased. The shoe racks built from 304 grade stainless steel, feature one-piece continuous shoe prongs and diamond leg bracing that significantly improve the hygienic qualities by eliminating any potential trap points for dirt.
The updated design saves space by extending each unit’s height slightly whilst reducing the width significantly. The smallest variant has been slimmed down from 900mm to 607mm while enabling 12 pairs of shoes to be neatly stored. Similarly, the largest version ups the number of pairs from 32 to 36, despite shrinking down the width by 600mm.
The lightweight freestanding or mobile racks can be easily moved for cleaning purposes. The range now includes pedestal options with adjustable and non-marking rubber feet, and mobile with swivel castors. A wall mounted rack is also available, which is supplied with spacers as standard to offer easy cleaning access along the wall.
Sue Springett, Commercial Manager at Teknomek, said: “Clean down time is an important factor to consider in terms of operating expenses. We believe each of the detailed design improvements will have a major impact saving time and cost on cleaning over weeks and months.”
