Teknomek, a leading provider of hygienic stainless steel furniture and equipment, has launched its extended and redesigned range of bin units and waste bag holders.

Following user feedback and research, Teknomek updated the designs of their bin units and waste bag holders to ensure the equipment meets the exacting standards of hygiene environments.  One example of the successful design updates are the knee paddles for hands-free bin lid opening.  The paddles have been adjusted in height and size enabling easier user operation regardless of the heights of users. Other design improvements have been to reduce dirt traps and improve cleaning efficiency.

The full range has been extended to include units with and without lids operated by hand, knee or foot.  The units come in a versatile range as ring only to fully enclosed, to hold one, two or three waste bags and be wall or floor mounted.

Sue Springett, Commerical Manager, from Teknomek commented, ”We believe our redesigned bin units and waste bag holders help organisations fulfil stringent hygienic control.  We listened to feedback and made some design tweaks to minimise dirt traps.  Enhanced by our new products, we have a range which is versatile, easy to clean and built to last – backed by a quick ‘order to out the door’ turnaround time.”
