Hepatitis B is a liver illness caused by the Hepatitis B virus. Although a vaccine has been available since 1982, it is estimated that a third of the world population has been infected during their lifetime. This infectious disease is still common today in China.

ViroStat has expanded its offering of Hepatitis B reagents including its MONOTOPE™ and OMNITOPE™ antibodies and Recombinant Antigens.

Specificities include surface antigen (HBsAg), HB core, HB “e”, pre-S1, pre-S2 and HB-X.

Applications for these reagents include ELISA, WB, IHC and rapid tests.
