The Brand® Liquid Handling Station pipetting robot is highly versatile capable of automating ELISA and PCR setup. The software is intuitive and easy to learn, which makes creating customised methods quick and easy.
The addition of the heating and shaking module removes the need for external sample shaking and heating allowing users to have more time for other tasks. The module fits within the worktable and integrates seamlessly with the LHS software.
The latest release of the Liquid Handling Station software (Version 3.0), offers enhanced capabilities that were developed based on customer feedback, including the integration of a heating and shaking module. As a result, the pipetting robot is even more versatile.
Some of the new software features are simplified selection of labware, easier method manipulation, and email notifications. Users can now create a list of labware favourites and label these with a unique name. This saves time and minimises the risk of confusion when selecting specific consumables within the vast library. Methods are easier to modify, they can be interrupted and started or restarted at any step, and worktable consumables can easily be changed without the need to create a new method.
There are also new sound notifications, when enabled, to alert the end user whenever an intervention is required, if an error occurs, or when the method is completed.
Brand will continue to provide the free Method Check with this software release. Brand experts check for the most effective way to automate your custom pipetting jobs. The test results can then be validated in the laboratory as part of the Liquid Handling Station’s two-week demonstration service.
