Innovative electric valve for high vacuum applications
Jan 27 2025
Pfeiffer Vacuum+Fab Solutions has introduced the Series E, an advanced electric angle valve designed to deliver superior control, energy efficiency, and reliability in high vacuum applications. This innovative valve sets a new benchmark in performance by combining precision engineering with sustainable operation.
The Series E valve features an electric actuation system that ensures precise control and durability. Equipped with a failsafe mechanism, it maintains operational safety during power interruptions and offers a manual ‘local mode’ for maintenance. This design minimises mechanical stress, providing consistent and reliable performance.
Engineered with energy efficiency in mind, the Series E valve helps businesses lower operational costs while promoting sustainable industrial practices. Its motor-driven system consumes less power compared to traditional valves, reducing energy usage and supporting environmental goals.
Built to perform in demanding vacuum environments, the Series E valve operates across a wide pressure range from 10⁻³ to 10⁻⁹ mbar. The 24 VDC electric actuation, combined with a robust elastomer seal, ensures exceptional sealing performance. The valve’s right-angle configuration simplifies system integration, enhancing compatibility and ease of use.
David Crone, Global Head of Valves at Pfeiffer Vacuum+Fab Solutions, stated, “The launch of the Series E represents a major advancement in vacuum technology. This innovation reflects our commitment to providing eco-friendly solutions that optimise efficiency without compromising environmental responsibility.”
