Precision solvent delivery pump for HPLC and UHPLC

07 May, 2026

Biotech Fluidics introduces the ASI 540, a cost-effective standalone solvent delivery pump designed for a wide range of liquid chromatography applications.

The ASI 540 features an intuitive touchscreen interface for full control of flow rates, gradient programming, and system functions, with optional remote operation. Available in configurations for UHPLC, HPLC, semi-preparative, preparative, and flash chromatography, the range covers flow rates from 0.5 µL/min to 300 mL/min. With stainless-steel or biocompatible PEEK pump heads, the system operates at pressures up to 15,000 psi (1050 bar) and supports a wide variety of solvents and workflows.

Alongside its user-friendly design, the ASI 540 delivers advanced performance features for experienced users. A patented floating seal maintains optimal alignment with the piston to reduce wear and extend lifetime. The self-priming pump head includes an integrated purge function for fast solvent switching. Flow precision is better than 0.25% across the full range, with pulsations kept below 1%.

Designed for straightforward maintenance, the pump is RoHS compliant and CE certified. All serviceable components are accessed from the front panel, while a cartridge-based seal system simplifies replacement and reduces downtime.
