La-Pha-Pack Caps with a partial-slit silicone septa effectively maintain sample integrity. With a Y-shaped slit only through the silicone layer, the chemically inert polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) layer remains completely intact to provide maximum protection from foreign contaminants and improved compatibility with aggressive solvent systems. Furthermore, this easy-to-use cap minimises alterations in solute concentration by reducing solvent evaporation.

With the ability to be used with manual syringes or on all HPLC autosamplers, thin gauge needle penetration is made simple by the Y-shaped slit. Providing a large penetration area, this shape enables quick and easy insertion of the needle into the vial. These septa enable excellent air flow during sample pick up in order to avoid a vacuum forming in the vial, making it ideal for many newer instruments.

Ideal for high organic samples and long run times, the La-Pha-Pack caps with partial-slit silicone septa enable complete sample protection.
