Zurich congress to address pharma’s digital transformation challenges




The Pharmaceutical Automation and Digitalisation Congress (AUTOMA+) 2026 will bring pharmaceutical leaders together in Zurich on 16–17 November 2026 for a closed-door event addressing digital transformation across the sector – from research and development (R&D) and laboratory automation to manufacturing, packaging, supply chain, compliance and commercial operations.

The congress will examine the practical constraints shaping digital transformation in pharma, including data integrity, validation, scalability and return on investment (ROI).

More than 50 speakers will be contributing to the agenda and covering:

    • Pharma 4.0, artificial intelligence (AI) and advanced analytics
    • R&D and laboratory automation
    • digital tools for GxP compliance
    • quality management and changing pharma logistics requirements
    • patient-centric digital commercial and marketing strategies
    • real-world data applications and other themes

Speakers include representatives from GSK, Takeda, Novartis, Roche, Johnson & Johnson, Scarletred Holding GmbH and the World Health Organization, reflecting a cross-section of pharmaceutical manufacturing, research, public health and technology expertise.

With a focus on applied use cases, AUTOMA+ 2026 will demonstrate how automation and digitalisation are being implemented today across regulated pharmaceutical environments.
