With unrelenting need for accurate sample analysis at lower detection limits, there is pressure on modern laboratories for automation of liquid transfers. Ability to perform large number of samples quickly and accurately is of paramount importance in laboratories. An automated system that is able to perform these tasks well, thus freeing the human operator to be more productive, has a key role in a modern lab. Questron is convinced of this, and QPrep is just such a system developed. QPrep Liquid Handling Automated Workstation, thus, is purposed to automate the tasks that are usually performed by manual pipettes. QPrep has no exposed metal parts in its work area providing contamination-free work area possible. A syringe pump with reciprocating action enables an essentially constant stream of liquid delivery. QPrep accommodates any user-specified sample racks, limited only by the size of QPrep work area.
