Soma Optics Ltd has developed Sun Spectroradiometer, HIDAMARI mini-Éø. This portable spectroradiometer was designed compactly and housed in a compact trunk with a battery for easy carrying to measure solar irradiation outside.

Features include: sensitivity and dynamic range is optimised to measure solar irradiation; wide wavelength are from 300 to 1700nm; the instrument and PC are housed in a trunk, working either on battery or AC current; and solar simulator measurement (fixed light only). It can be used for solar spectral irradiance measurement, solar cell evaluation, solar simulator measurement (fixed light only) and spectral coincidence evaluation according

to JIS C8912, JIS C8933 and IEC 60904-9.
