The new CompactSpec II Ex, from tec5 AG, can be placed directly into the production area and therefore avoids long fibre optic distances. Losses because of damping and costs for installation are therefore minimized. Solarization-free UV light guides allow fiber-optic spectroscopy down to 195nm. Fast multipexer technology provides up to 8 measurement channels without reducing speed and stability.
Software for process communication (4-20mA, Profibus) and data evaluation (color, chemometrics, film thickness) complete the system.
