Rapid Salmonella kit for validated food and environmental testing

Bio-Rad Laboratories, Inc has introduced the EZ-Check Salmonella spp. Kit, a rapid PCR-based test for detecting Salmonella in a wide range of food and environmental samples. The kit has received validation from AOAC International under its Performance Tested Methods program and NF VALIDATION certification from AFNOR Certification.

Designed for streamlined workflows, the EZ-Check Salmonella spp. Kit combines multiplex amplification of Salmonella DNA with an internal control to reduce false negatives, while its duplex detection system simplifies assay setup and enhances accuracy.

The kit’s performance has been rigorously tested by both international certification bodies across parameters including robustness, stability, inclusivity, exclusivity, and matrix compatibility.
