Kits
Bio-Rad Laboratories has launched a portfolio of Vericheck ddPCR kits compatible with its QX700 platform, providing validated assays for quality control workflows in biopharmaceutical manufacturing and cell and gene therapy development.
The ready-to-use kit portfolio includes assays for mycoplasma detection, empty/full capsid analysis, replication-competent lentivirus detection, CHO residual DNA quantification and E. coli residual DNA quantification.
Designed for use with the QX700 Droplet Digital PCR System, the kits combine validated workflows with seven-colour multiplexing and high-throughput analysis to support critical quality control testing throughout advanced therapeutic development and manufacturing.
Quality control plays an essential role in ensuring the safety, purity and performance of cell and gene therapies. The Vericheck kits are intended to simplify routine testing by providing standardised assays for vector characterisation, contamination detection and residual host cell DNA analysis.
The QX700 platform can process up to 384 reactions in around two and a half hours, with continuous loading capability, low sample input requirements and software designed to simplify data analysis.
Stephen Kulisch, Vice President of Marketing, Digital Biology Group at Bio-Rad Laboratories, said: "The expansion of our Vericheck ddPCR Kit portfolio provides validated workflows combined with the capabilities of the QX700 platform, helping laboratories generate faster, reliable results for advanced therapeutic development and manufacturing."
