Phenomenex, Inc has announced the addition of a 3 micrometer C18 300 A HPLC column to its growing line of Jupiter® products for protein characterisation and purification. The new C18 reverse phase column is
the most efficient in the Jupiter line, providing better resolution and
sharper peaks than other phases and enabling the separation of closely eluting proteins.
Jupiter 3 ìm C18 columns fully resolve post-translational modifications and are ideal for research on proteins such as ctytochrome C, insulin and betalactoglobulin. “Compounds that differ by just a few amino acids are a challenge for protein researchers,” commented Cathy Cordova, Brand Manager for Phenomenex. “We are pleased to extend our Jupiter line with this new column for the most difficult protein separations.”
All Jupiter 300 columns are robust and feature extended pH stability ensured by extensive testing and QC documentation. Jupiter’s bonding and
silica technology provide scalability, from analytical and preparative media to bulk material. The new Jupiter 3 ìm C18 columns are available in standard analytical dimensions.
