Hi-line Technical Division: nationwide coverage, local presence
Hi-line Industries, a leading UK-based provider in energy-efficient compressed air purification solutions, has launched its new Technical Division, reinforcing its commitment to supporting its nationwide distribution network. The Technical Division, equipped with qualified technicians and an unbranded vehicle fleet, extends support to third-party services. As a leading ISO9001-accredited manufacturer specializing in air filters, adsorption dryers, and air treatment ancillaries, Hi-line plays a pivotal role in the compressed air industry.
The Technical Division of Hi-line comprises skilled personnel trained in various aspects of compressed air and gas generation. Each technician holds ACRIB registration and is recognised as an approved 'safe refrigerant handler' in compliance with REFCOM standards. Affiliated with BCAS and collaborating with DEFRA, the division ensures the highest service standards. Hi-line, a proud member of the 'Made in Britain' campaign, is dedicated to supporting its extensive distribution network, including compressed air service companies, compressor OEMs, and local industrial suppliers.
The array of services offered by Hi-line's Technical Division includes core activities such as servicing compressed air dryers (refrigeration and desiccant models), covering tasks like filter element replacement, desiccant changes, and condensate separator maintenance. Additionally, the division provides comprehensive services such as air treatment total care agreements, energy audits, breathing air analysis, leak surveys, compressor data logging, and dewpoint measurements.
Hi-line's retrofit services extend to dewpoint control addition for any dryer, upgrading analogue controls to touchscreen panels, and dial-in retrofits for digital monitoring. The company also manages pipework installations and modifications, including hygiene-grade stainless steel pipes. Notably, the Technical Division ensures discretion, adopting an unbranded approach upon request, including plain overalls and customer service report sheets.
Steve Smith, Managing Director of Hi-line, emphasised, "Many of our products are 'unbranded' at the request of compressor companies and other OEMs. To support these products, we have an unbranded fleet of vehicles and can even adopt plain overalls and customer service report sheets upon request. Whatever your service requirement, we have discreet, well presented and qualified engineers to support compressed air treatment equipment made by Hi-line and others."
