Strategic distribution deal expands access to bioanalysis tools across Europe

11 Jul, 2025

Takara Bio Europe has signed a strategic distribution agreement with MACHEREY-NAGEL, opening up new commercial opportunities across ten European countries for high-quality bioanalysis products.

Under the agreement, Takara Bio Europe will offer MACHEREY-NAGEL’s trusted RNA, DNA, and protein purification solutions in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Luxembourg, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. These products are widely used in molecular biology, diagnostics, and life sciences research, and are known for their consistency and performance across sample types.

The partnership allows Takara Bio Europe to expand its portfolio with upstream extraction tools that pair naturally with its existing PCR, qPCR, and NGS offerings - creating a more complete workflow for customers and opening doors to cross-selling opportunities.

“This collaboration creates real value for scientists who want reliable results from start to finish,” said Caroline Cousquer, Head of Marketing, EMEA at Takara Bio Europe. “It also strengthens our position in key research markets by offering seamless access to complementary technologies.”

Peter Kuckenberg, Director International Sales at MACHEREY-NAGEL, added: “By combining our bioanalysis expertise with Takara Bio Europe’s established presence and support, we’re well-positioned to reach new customers and accelerate adoption across Europe.”

The agreement reflects growing demand for streamlined procurement and integrated solutions in the life sciences sector, and signals strong commercial potential for both partners in an increasingly competitive market.
