CDMO award highlights growing demand for biologics manufacturing capacity

09 Apr, 2026

Vetter has been named a winner in the ‘Finished Dose’ category of the 2026 CDMO Leadership Awards, reflecting increasing industry focus on performance, reliability and capacity in biologics manufacturing.

The award, based on independent research and biopharma customer feedback, highlights the growing reliance on CDMOs to support complex injectable drug development from early clinical phases through to commercial supply.

As biologics pipelines expand, CDMOs are under increasing pressure to scale capacity while maintaining consistency and quality. Vetter has continued to invest in global expansion, including long-term capacity growth across Europe and the United States.

The recognition also reflects a broader shift in the outsourcing landscape, where operational performance and customer experience are becoming key differentiators alongside technical capability.

“We are committed to supporting our customers every day, and this award reflects our focus on operational excellence, reliability and innovation,” said Lars Hahn, Senior Vice President Global Sales Organization at Vetter.

Industry observers note that CDMO performance benchmarks are becoming increasingly data-driven, with customer validation playing a central role in defining sector leadership.
