As an alternative to traditional ICP and AFS/AAS systems for water, wastewater, and sludge/soil analysis, a new dual beam mercury analyser from Milestone can measure to low ppt levels in 5 minutes.

The sample preparation stage in mercury analysis often causes a problem particularly with sludges and soils due to its volatility. The Milestone mercury analyser from Analytix does not require any sample preparation or additional reagents thus eliminating the risk of mercury loss and cross contamination.

The system does not require daily calibration and has the advantage of ‘running on air’ that removes the requirement for in-house or bottled gases.
