Mercury Analysis in Water and Wastewater Samples

The Milestone FMA-80 is a highly innovative automatic analyser designed for analysing mercury in water, wastewater and sample digests. The system is based on AFS/AAS that allows an extremely wide working range between 0.2 ppt and 250 ppb and provides results in under 2 minutes.

The auto-sampler can be configured to offer 36 or 89 sample positions and uniquely inserts automatic blank wash cycles and reduces the sampling size if the signal is out of range. A single speed variable pump eliminates the need for multi-pump calibration and is used for all reagents and automatically calibrated daily. The miniature gas/liquid separator design reduces reagents consumption to a minimum and a built-in liquid reagent sensor eliminates the risk of wasting samples and the system is configured with a dual gold trap amalgamator as standard.

The FMA-80 is fully compliant to EPA 245.1, 245.2, 245.5, 245.7, 1631, EN 1483, 12338, 13806 and ISO 17852 and optimises the analytical workflow from start to finish, improving analytical data quality whilst reducing the time taken to achieve results.
