With its acquisition of Brabender, Anton Paar is excited to expand its traditional portfolio of instruments for analyzing food and feed.

Anton Paar’s new Brabender instruments perform food analysis, broadening the current portfolio of rheometers, particle size analyzers, microwave-assisted digestion systems, X-ray diffractometers, and density analyzers.

Customers can now fully characterize the physical properties of their food products. This means they can analyze optimal water absorption levels, the kneading behavior and dough properties, as well as determine water content and starch gelatinization levels.

But there’s more: Customers can also use Anton Paar mixers and extruders to improve or develop new food products. They can also scale up from lab to pilot plant food extrusion and produce products of various dimensions, shapes, and compositions. Finally, they also receive the information they need to modify the texture of various materials, such as proteins, starches, fish feed, cereals, and pasta, with Anton Paar’s Brabender extruders.

Ultimately, this allows customers to optimize all aspects of their production process, from raw material QC, formulation and transportation, to packaging, storage, and the final product QC.
