Anton Paar Introduces SAXSpoint 700: Infinite experimental possibilities – Pure brilliance

Anton Paar has expanded its portfolio of small-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS) solutions with SAXSpoint 700, a state-of-the-art laboratory beamline designed for maximum flexibility, precision, and efficiency.

Offering capabilities in SAXS, WAXS, GISAXS, USAXS, and RheoSAXS analysis, SAXSpoint 700 meets the demands of researchers and industrial users conducting advanced material studies under diverse experimental conditions.

SAXSpoint 700 features a spacious and adaptable measurement chamber, allowing experiments under ambient, non-ambient, and controlled air conditions. It delivers outstanding resolution with a minimum q-value of 0.01 nm⁻¹ at a system length of 3.60 m. The system incorporates Slidemaster technology for fully automatic X-ray scattering experiments over a wide q-range, from the highest SAXS resolution to wide scattering angles in the WAXS regime. The moving detector enables automatic sample-detector distance adjustments from less than 45 mm to over 1,600 mm, streamlining workflows and minimising downtime between experiments.

A dedicated GISAXS stage supports GISAXS and GIWAXS measurements across a broad temperature range from -150°C to +500°C, enhancing research possibilities in material science. SAXSpoint 700 also integrates RheoSAXS functionality, enabling simultaneous structural and rheological analysis when combined with Anton Paar’s DSR 502 rheometer.

With a high-brilliance X-ray beam, outstanding spectral purity, and scatterless collimation, SAXSpoint 700 delivers synchrotron-grade data quality. It resolves nanostructures up to 620 nm and extends into the micrometer range with USAXS. The system’s advanced software suite, including SAXSdrive™ and SAXSanalysis™, automates experiment setup and provides customisable data analysis. Python-based scripting offers full control over experiments, while a free and life-long software update policy ensures continuous access to the latest advancements.

Engineered for adaptability and scalability, SAXSpoint 700 allows users to configure the system to meet evolving research needs. Anton Paar maintains stringent quality management, certified service procedures, and a global network of application experts to provide comprehensive support. A standard three-year warranty ensures reliability and user satisfaction.

With SAXSpoint 700, Anton Paar sets a new standard in laboratory X-ray scattering, delivering a powerful, precise, and flexible solution for cutting-edge materials research.
