The benchtop density meter DMA 1001 combines a completely new oscillating U-tube design with a newly developed measuring technology. The patented Pulsed Excitation Method (AT516420 B1) delivers stable density results based on comprehensive knowledge of the oscillation characteristics.
Anton Paar has put high-end technology in an affordable 4-digit density meter meeting the universal demand across all industries of an accuracy of 0.0001 g/cm3. DMA 1001 is fully compliant with USP <841>, Ph. Eur. 2.25, JP 17 2.56, and fulfills all requirements of FDA CFR 21 Part 11. On top of that it comes with a set of features which simplify measurement work.
Thanks to U-View™ – a pin-sharp camera image of the measuring cell – the correct sample filling can be closely observed. Potential filling errors caused by inhomogeneous and viscous samples such as crude oil and lubricants, bubbles, or particles are automatically detected by the FillingCheck™ feature.
Up to 5000 results, including camera images and potential filling alerts, are stored in the instrument’s memory and ready for export and printing in various formats, ensuring perfect traceability for future quality inspections. The new user interface is self-explanatory and can be operated via a 7” touchscreen with the look and feel of a smartphone.
DMA 1001’s rugged design allows for flexible placement, not only in the laboratory but also in production or storage facilities, providing the opportunity to save time by performing quick checks wherever you are. Furthermore, the instrument provides an intelligent condition monitoring system that gives warnings and recommendations for required action in case of challenging environmental conditions.
A quick check to see whether the instrument measures according to specifications as well as an adjustment can be performed directly at the measuring temperature.
Anton Paar now offers a free 2-week trial.
