Anton Paar GmbH developed TruGap™, a unique system to measure the actual gap in cone-and-plate and parallel-plate rheometry. Based on an induction principle, TruGap™ keeps the gap constant during the test no matter which temperature profiles are running.

TruGap™ saves time, makes the results more accurate and also makes life easier for the rheometer operator. With TruGap™ only one zero-gap routine has to be performed after changing a measurement geometry. This can be done at any temperature. No extra equilibration time is needed before zeroing the gap. Together with Toolmaster™, the unique geometry and accessory detection system, TruGap™ allows thorough and error-free documentation. TruGap™ saves time, reduces errors and makes thorough documentation possible.
