Beckman Coulter introduces the advanced flow cytometer, CellLab Quanta SC, at two special meetings in May. Application information and experimental work will be presented, covering studies of viability, apoptosis, CFP expression, bacteria, cell cycle analysis, fluorescence concentration and surface density measurement.

Combining side light scatter detection and a third fluorescent channel with Coulter volume measurement, Quanta SC delivers accurate, multiparameter cell counting and sizing.
Multiple excitation wavelengths, including UV and laser light sources, allow flexible fluorochrome selection for a variety of multicolour analyses. The Patented triangular flow cell provides unsurpassed precision, while an easy-to-use digital interface provides instantaneous data acquisition and analysis control.
Venues for the Quanta SC launch events will be The Museum of Science and Industry, Manchester on 16 May and Beckman Coulter UK's headquarters in High Wycombe on 18 May.
