Users of Biochrom’s WPA advanced life science spectrophotometers now have a new option for data storage and capture. The SD card accessory enables data to be exported to a PC using standard SD or SDHC memory cards. It can be easily fitted to the Biowave DNA, Lightwave II, and Biowave II instruments and comes complete with user-friendly PVC (Print Via Computer) software. Storing methods on a memory card allows users to save and backup their methods and will be particularly useful to those running multiple instruments, allowing them to transfer settings and ‘clone’ methods between instruments.

The new SD card accessory complements existing options to export data via a USB connection, or make use of the integrated printer or wireless Bluetooth® accessories. Biochrom customers can benefit from a special launch offer by ordering a new Lightwave II or Biowave II UV/Vis Spectrophotometer before 30th September 2009. On request they will receive an SD card accessory fitted to their instrument free of charge, ready to store results and methods.
