The first stand alone FT-NIR-spectrometer with ‘hygienic design’, the BUCHI NIRMaster is fully at-line compatible in the production environment of food and feed industries. The cleaning and the operation is extremely simple and safe and complies with the special hygienic requirements.

The BUCHI NIRMaster is available in two versions: A food certified polymer housing and a stainless steel enclosure, which both come in different protection classes – IP54 (NIRMaster) and IP65 (NIRMaster pro). With their wide range of pre-calibrations the NIRMaster units are truly plug-and-play, ready for the immediate implementation. The unique polarisation interferometer provides the NIRMaster with a level of robustness that is typically not achievable by other interferometer designs and its high sensitivity assures reliable and accurate results even in harsh environments. The internal laser reference eliminates the need of frequent, expensive instrument standardisations.

BUCHI’s NIRCal chemometric software is available to enlarge and adapt calibrations or establish new proprietary calibrations using a patented calibration wizard.

Bidirectional calibration transfer between the NIRFlex N-500 lab instrument and the new NIRMaster is safe and efficient due to the identical robust polarisation

interferometer concept.

The user can operate the NIRMaster from an optional intuitive touchscreen interface, which will also show all relevant results in a large character display.

Globally operating NIR networks with multi-site NIRMaster installations are supported by BUCHI’s NIRAnywhere software solution, providing safe and fast remote calibration updates and/or data backups over large distances.
