Eltra’s new ELEMENTRAC CS-i is the perfect choice for accurate and reliable analysis of carbon and sulphur in inorganic materials.

Simultaneous determination of C/S concentrations is achieved through an induction furnace for sample combustion as well as highly sensitive IR cells.

The variable measuring range of the ELEMENTRAC CS-i is defined by the configuration of the infrared cells but also by the sample quantity to be analysed. Very high concentrations of carbon and sulphur can be reliably detected by reducing the sample amount due to the complete sample decomposition.

The robust ELEMENTRAC CS-i makes the analysis process easy and convenient thanks to a variety of performance features: freely selectable configuration of each IR cell; new vacuum system ensures high measurement precision and stability; heated dust trap allows for improved sulphur detection; optimised catalyst reactor permits more accurate carbon detection; new ELEMENTS software with comprehensive diagnosis and analysis tools.

Uniquely, the CS-I is available in individual configurations with single IR cells as well as in standard configuration with two IR cells for carbon and sulphur respectively. Defined measuring ranges may be freely combined thus allowing for economic configuration of this versatile combustion analyser.
