Evoqua Water Technologies GmbH in Barsbüttel, Germany has launched the Compact RO 100. This is a very compact Reverse Osmosis System suitable for an under bench installation. This system produces highly purified water (permeate) from feed water (municipal water). The system integrates all necessary components to feed consumers such aslaboratory dishwashers and autoclaves.

All components are arranged, mounted and interconnected on an aluminum frame skid. This will minimise the effort and time for the Installation and first start up. For easy maintenance the components are arranged in a way for best possible access and handling.

The unit is producing permeate using a Reverse Osmosis System from municipal feed water with a flow rate of 100L/h (max. up to 120L/h). The salt retention rate is approximately 98%.

Depending on the feed water quality you can adjust the unit to work with a recovery rate of up to 75%.

The water treatment system consists of:

  • Flushing filter (particle filter)
  • System divider (separating/protecting the feed water grid from the unit)
  • Active carbon filter (size 10”; adsorbing organic substances/odor and protecting the following components from free Chlorine)
  • Reverse Osmosis System (for salt retention)
  • Microcontroller for process control and monitoring of the feed water and product water quality (conductivity)
  • Tank to store the permeate (product water)
  • Tank distribution pump (to feed the variety of consumers possible)
performance rate: 0,4m³/h at 3,2bar up to 3,2m³/h at 1,2bar.
