Market Launch of a Completely new Decanter Generation
May 29 2012
GEA Westfalia Separator Group is using Achema 2012 from 18th to 22nd June 2012 in Frankfurt as the ideal platform for the launch of a completely new decanter generation. This new GEA Westfalia Separator ecoforce generation with GEA Westfalia Separator summationdrive combines the greatest flexibility for the investment and in practical operation for all solid-orientated applications. It finds application across the whole spectrum of applications in chemistry, pharmaceuticals, mineral processing and renewable resources. The new decanter fleet uses aconsistent design concept throughout the entire size range, offers high throughput capacities and excellent separation efficiency. ecoforce uniquely combines excellent performance with low energy consumption and additionally enjoys the benefits of a user-oriented service for best possible availability. The summationdrive together with the configuration of the decanter in super deep pond design ensures a boost in energy efficiency of the ecoforce decanter fleet by a further 30%.
The new series of separators with the integrated direct drive GEA Westfalia Separator directdrive serves a wide range of applications. This new drive concept offers substantially reduced maintenance requirement and resulting higher availability.
GEA Westfalia Separator Group is exhibiting the PU CSC 1/5/8 for the pharmaceutical industry as a package unit with separator and the entire periphery on a single frame. The package unit is particularly suitable for laboratories and pilot plants, can be equipped with three bowl sizes for different throughput capacities, is steam-sterilisable and satisfies GMP requirements. The integrated separator is the only separator worldwide that is capable of attaining a g-force of 20,000.
A further premiere at Achema is a completely new service concept: serv&care for consistently high availability, process efficiency and budget security.
