Grant Instruments (UK) launched its latest addition to its product portfolio, offering a new shaking water bath range for research, industrial and teaching labs. The Aqua Pro range consists of two linear and one combined orbital/ linear bath, all with excellent usability features and temperature performance.

Emma Hewson, Product Manager added: “We wanted to bring something new for users of these type of products. Having spent time in labs we found that securely holding vessels of all shapes and sizes during agitation was a high priority along with being able to easily place shaking trays in the bath when loaded. We came up with our new Motion Pro™ system which allows you to drop in fully loaded trays of flasks and bottles easily. Shaking trays feature either adjustable springs, racks or flask clamps to securely hold most vessels and self locate and lock in for secure, quiet operation.

The range also uses key technology from our successful unstirred water bath launched in 2013. Amongst other things it means the unit is accurate out the box to minimise set up time through our Set and ForgetTM technology and has added features to help protect the bath from inadvertently being allowed to run dry or switched on without water“.

Shaking baths are used is education, research and industrial applications requiring accurate temperature control and gentle or vigorous agitation.
