Artificial Cerebrospinal Fluid (CSF) closely matches the electrolyte concentrations and osmolality found in authentic cerebrospinal fluid.

Artificial CSF is commonly used as a sterile diluent or flushing fluid for delivery of molecules into the brain. It can also be used when sampling brain interstitial fluid.

Artificial CSF manufactured by Harvard Apparatus is perfect for use as a general infusate or perfusate, when it is essential for fluid to be identical in composition to native CSF.

Prepared with highest purity water and analytical grade chemicals, artificial CSF is supplied in convenient, sterile 25ml aliquots.
