The new Lumixx® ready 100, a ready-to-use substrate from biostep is now available in the UK from Labcare Service. This substrate, for sensitive chemiluminescence detection, has been developed for use with the new Celvin Western blot system. It is a luminol-based substrate for detection of small quantities of horseradish peroxidase (HRP) on western blots. It is easy to apply and the sensitivity ensures short exposure times. It is suitable for detection with films and camera-based chemiluminescence systems. A 50ml bottle is sufficient for about 10 mini gel blots.

Labcare and biostep would like to offer western blot users the chance to try this new substrate. Supplies are limited but the first thirty western blot users to contact Labcare Service will receive a free trial sample of Lumixx® ready 100.
