Considering the multitude of organic compounds in water, it is practically impossible to identify and determine each and every one of these compounds. Continuous online measurement of the TOC is the optimum solution for monitoring impurities, contaminations and soil seepage outputs.

The new ADI 7010 TOC Analyser from Metrohm Applikon measures samples ranging from 0 to 500 mg/l. The measurement range can also be extended up to 10,000 mg/l.

The ADI 7010 TOC Analyser uses the method of UV persulphate oxidation (complying with the DIN, EPA, ASTM, and NAMUR regulations) and has separate compartments for the electronics and wet end, as is customary for Metrohm process analysers. It is operated via menus on a touchscreen. The analysis program, validation function, and auto-clean function can be freely linked.

The TOC concentration is continuously displayed and transmitted via an analogue signal (4 – 20 mA). The device can be controlled remotely as standard.
