Offering speed, accuracy, and a wide measurement range, Micromeritics’ AutoPore V Series Mercury Porosimeters permit the calculation of pore size distributions, pore volume, pore surface area, median pore diameter and sample densities (bulk and skeletal). These instruments also offer enhanced safety features and new data reduction and reporting capabilities.

The AutoPore V is available in two models (33,000 psia maximum pressure and 60,000 psia maximum pressure units). Each contains two high-pressure plus four low-pressure analysis ports. Both models operate in scanning (speed) and time- or rate-of-intrusion equilibrated modes (precision).

AutoPore V safety features include a mercury temperature sensor, improved funnel and mercury reservoir design, triple fail safe penetrometer cap assembly, mercury vapour detection device, and a mercury vapour capture filter.

MicroActive software includes a method wizard, a variety of plots, user-defined report and report options, post-analysis parameter change capability, automatic measurement of mercury temperature for accurate density calculations under operating conditions, enhanced penetrometer calibration, and a diagnostic dashboard. An import feature allows the overlay of multiple porosimetry analyses with gas adsorption porosity data. Receive information on the distribution of pore shape with Reverberi method data reduction.
