Versatile Wireless Barcode Scanner

Micronic Europe, specialists in laboratory sample storage, has announced the launch of the SampleScan Wireless Barcode Scanner.

Weighing only 255g the SampleScan Wireless Scanner combines the convenience of lightweight handheld operation with the versatility of being able to read coding symbologies including a wide range of 2D and linear barcodes.

The new SampleScan Scanner transmits information from scans to a computer wirelessly using Bluetooth communication. The Micronic wireless scanner is ideal in applications when a cord would be an inconvenience or a safety hazard. The SampleScan also provides additional flexibility compared to corded scanners, for scanning in multiple locations. Durably constructed, with no moving parts, the SampleScan Wireless Scanner is built to provide years of hassle-free scanning for applications in laboratories, retail, warehouse, manufacturing, distribution - and all points in-between. A high capacity lithium ion battery allows c.16 hours of consistent use between recharging operations. Offering fast, intuitive reading across a wide range of high and low density barcode symbologies, the SampleScan Wireless Scanner quickly reads even damaged and poorly printed codes.
