Samples, processes and requirements differ. Your particle analyser should adapt. The new MICROTRAC SYNC Series moves beyond one-size-fits-all with three purpose-built configurations for different measurement ranges, automation needs and laboratory workflows.
Every laboratory has different priorities. SYNC GO, SYNC PLUS and SYNC PRO provide a clear choice—from dependable routine analysis to advanced applications requiring broader measurement capabilities.
Covering 0.1 to 2,000 µm in both wet and dry modes, SYNC GO delivers reliable particle size analysis for daily measurements and quality control.
With a range of 0.1 to 4,000 µm in dry mode and 0.02 to 2,800 µm in wet mode, SYNC PLUS gives laboratories greater flexibility when working with a broad variety of materials and applications.
SYNC PRO combines one red and two blue lasers to extend the lower measurement range down to 0.01 µm in wet mode, while covering up to 4,000 µm in dry mode. It is designed for demanding analytical tasks that require additional sensitivity at the lower end of the measurement range.
The modular SYNC platform can be configured for wet, dry or combined measurements. A choice of dispersion modules enables laboratories to adapt sample handling to their processes—including applications involving low sample volumes or special solvents.
For laboratories processing larger sample series, FLOWSYNC can be combined with the Autosampler for automated sample feeding. This reduces manual handling and extends the platform from flexible individual measurements to efficient workflows where higher throughput and consistent sample processing matter.
Dispersion modules can be exchanged in under 15 seconds, making it easy to move between different measurement tasks without disrupting the laboratory workflow.
With the optional camera, every SYNC configuration can combine laser diffraction with dynamic image analysis in one simultaneous measurement. Particle size data is complemented by information about particle shape, morphology and dispersion quality—helping users detect agglomerates, identify outliers and assess results with greater confidence.
AI-supported analysis functions within the DIMENSIONS LS software are also available for all three configurations.
The SYNC Series is part of MICROTRAC’s comprehensive portfolio for material characterisation. MICROTRAC technologies cover particle size and shape, surface area and pore structure, dispersion stability, zeta potential, catalyst characterisation and density. Product ranges include CAMSIZER, NANOTRAC, BELSORP, BELPORE, TURBISCAN, STABINO ZETA, BELCAT II and BELPYCNO.
