Webinar: Introductory-Level Laser Flash Analysis
Jan 27 2015
A material’s thermal diffusivity and specific heat capacity can be determined simply and easily using Laser Flash Analysis (LFA). In combination with information about the material’s thickness, its thermal conductivity can then be calculated. These temperature-dependent material properties are important parameters in simulation, the production process, and later application. LFA allows for investigations not only on solids, but also on powders, liquids and melts. Directionally dependent measurements such as those on fiber-reinforced polymers or thin metal foils supply details about the flow of heat in the material and thus yield additional important information.
This webinar addresses the basics of the measuring method, gives an overview of all of the NETZSCH LFA systems, and shows the great variety of application possibilities offered by the method using selected examples.
The webinar takes place on February 17, 2015. Feel free to find out more and join us for this session HERE.
