New ISO Guide 34 accredited Sucrose in Water Standards Available 

Reagecon are delighted to announce that Sucrose in Water Standards used for Refractive Index measurements using the Brix Scale, are now supplied as ISO Guide 34 accredited Standards. Manufactured in accordance with ICUMSA guidelines and covering values up to 60% Brix (% Sucrose in water w/w), these Standards are offered in 15ml packs. They are also provided with an extended product shelf life of 12 weeks from manufacture. These Materials are used for the calibration of scientific instruments such as Refractometers, control of laboratory tests, qualification of analytical instruments and for validation of test methodologies.

ISO Guide 34 accreditation demands that all aspects of the production of reference materials are carried out with measureable and traceable quality. The Guide’s comprehensive requirements includes production planning, material selection, assignment of certified values, uncertainty, traceability, homogeneity and stability, as well as packaging and documentation. The accreditation was awarded after Reagecon demonstrated and satisfied all necessary competence levels for the production of Certified Reference Materials (CRMs).

While ISO Guide 34 ensures the high quality of reference materials, it is founded on several underlying certifications already operated by Reagecon including an ISO 17025 accreditation for both a wide range of product testing and calibration services including temperature, weight and volume, underpinning their competence as a testing and calibration laboratory.
