Retsch has developed the new Hammer Mill HM 200 for size reduction of hard, brittle, tough and fibrous sample materials. Particles sized up to 100 mm can be pulverised to a final fineness of 0.8 mm and less.

Features like rugged design, easy handling and quick cleaning make the HM 200 equally suitable for use in laboratories or pilot plants.

The mill can be used for batchwise or continuous operation and offers a high sample throughput of up to 1500 kg per hour.

The achievable grind size depends on the sample properties and is defined by the aperture size of the sieve used. A variety of hoppers and collecting vessels allows for easy adaptation to application requirements.
