Mixer HC: all for one, and one for all!

Starlab’s Mixer HC is a small but powerful piece of kit that will simplify your lab processes and make your workflows a lot easier. It combines mixing with heating or cooling applications. It heats to 99°C, cools to 13°C below room temperature, mixes from 300 rpm to 1500 rpm (mixing speed depends on block being used), and is programmable for multi-step heating and mixing operations. The easy to use, intuitive menu includes an integrated timer for setting the duration of each step of your process. This compact, space-saving unit can replace your vortex, shaker, heating plate, dry bath and more! Starlab’s Mixer HC combines several functions in one, convenient unit, for a tidy and more organised workspace.

Microcentrifuge 24: Small space, Big results!

Starlab’s Microcentrifuge 24 is the ideal centrifuge for anyone looking for a versatile, personal microcentrifuge for all molecular biology applications. With a maximum relative centrifugal force of 21,300 x g, the Microcentrifuge 24 complies with all standard protocols and DNA/RNA-kits on the market. Thanks to its small footprint, the Microcentrifuge 24 fits perfectly on every lab bench. It can be equipped with a 24-place aerosol-tight rotor suitable for 1.5/2.0 ml tubes. Various adapters can extend the rotor’s capacity for use with 0.2 - 0.6 ml tubes. For users focused on PCR applications, a dedicated PCR rotor for 32 x PCR tubes or 4 x PCR strips is available too. Fully autoclavable rotors, combined with motorized lid lock, automatic lid-opening at the end of the run and easy to clean keypad with one-touch short-spin button­­, will ease your daily work.

GuardOne® Workstation: Work without cross-contamination.

Starlab’s GuardOne® Workstation provides the ideal workspace for sensitive and critical applications requiring a clean environment, or protection from potential contaminations by bacteria, DNA or RNA. GuardOne® minimises cross-contamination risk and protects your valuable samples and reagents, thus saving you time of potentially having to duplicate your work. Every aspect of GuardOne® was designed with convenience in mind. All functions can be controlled via the intuitive touchscreen that is compatible with laboratory gloves. The integrated lab timer, constant monitoring of the UV lamp and the HEPA filters lifespan will ease your work even further.
