ABgene Plate of the Month

Thermo Fisher Scientific, Inc is pleased to announce the Thermo Scientific ABgene™ Semi-Skirted 96-well PCR Plate (ref AB-0900) as its ‘Plate of the Month’ for March 2009. The Plate of the Month initiative celebrates entry into the second century of man-made plastics by providing scientists with valuable ways to trial ABgene plates.

The ABgene Semi-Skirted 96-well PCR plate was designed with lab throughput flexibility in mind. The plate deck is more rigid than non-skirted PCR plates and is segmented for easy separation into 24 and 48 well sections. Each well has a thin walled design for optimal and consistent heat transfer and a raised rim for superior sealing with adhesive seals or cap strips while alphanumeric grid referencing makes well identification easy for any throughput. The ABgene Semi-Skirted 96-well PCR plate is also available in opaque white for QPCR applications.
