The C-series of chemical resistant diaphragm pumps from Wiggens are suitable for use in in the chemical, pharmaceutical, petrochemical and other industries, such as suction filtration, vacuum distillation, rotational evaporation, vacuum concentration, centrifugal concentration and solid phase extraction, to name a few.

C-series pumps are driven by diaphragm, with no additional belt-driven transmission, which eliminates the need of lubricant, regular oil and maintenance. All wetted parts of C series pump are made of PTFE which is ideal for extremely aggressive/corrosive gases and vapours. The sealing system provides reduced leakage rates for improved ultimate vacuum (1mbar).

The quality vibration-proof assembly makes C-series pumps run at the lowest noise level compared to all other equivalent pumps. Each unit has a built-in thermal protection device to shut off the pump automatically should overheated occur and then resume working when the temperature cools down.

C-series pumps provide optimum performance and unsurpassed service intervals even in harsh chemical applications. This unmatched reliability is achieved by manufacturing the most highly stressed components. The head cover, clamping disk and smooth surfaces enables easy cleaning. A frequency conversion version is also available. It can be matched with vacuum controllers, VDM digital meters and filtration systems, all of them from Wiggens.
