To address the needs of sensitive molecular assays, Integra Biosciences has expanded its reagent reservoir collection to include 10 and 25 ml sterile polypropylene reservoirs featuring SureFlo™ anti-sealing technology. Manufactured from a highly chemically resistant material, these new additions offer broad reagent compatibility and reduced surface adsorption of proteins.

Applications like sensitive molecular assays often face challenges with binding events, making polystyrene reservoirs less suitable. The introduction of polypropylene reservoirs with SureFlo anti-sealing technology aims to overcome these challenges, minimising surface binding of macromolecules and ensuring reliable assay performance. In response to customer demands, these new additions extend the reagent reservoir product range, catering to a broader spectrum of applications.

The unique combination of polypropylene with SureFlo, coupled with a surface treatment for enhanced adhesiveness and wettability, results in ultra-low dead volume. This not only conserves costly reagents but also enhances assay compatibility. The latest generation of polypropylene reservoirs is particularly well-suited for applications involving fluorescent dyes, such as SYBR® Green and TaqMan® qPCR. These applications include forensic analyses, microarrays, next-generation sequencing, gene cloning, and protein work.
