Liquid handling
In high-pressure fluid systems, measurement error is more than a technical issue - it can quickly become a safety risk, a performance limitation, and a costly inefficiency. From hydraulic power units to offshore energy systems and chemical injection skids, accurate flow data under extreme pressure is essential to maintaining safe and efficient operation.
Titan Enterprises designs high-pressure Oval Gear flow meters for environments where operating conditions routinely push components to their limits. Built for stability and repeatability, the meters deliver consistent performance across extreme pressures, fluctuating viscosities, and chemically aggressive fluids - conditions that often expose weaknesses in less robust technologies.
In hydraulic and fluid power systems, even small inaccuracies are amplified. In applications such as lubrication control, additive dosing, or hydraulic actuation, incorrect flow measurement can lead to overdosing, increased wear, energy loss, or unplanned downtime. Positive displacement technologies, particularly oval gear designs, are therefore widely specified because they measure actual fluid volume directly, independent of flow profile or turbulence.
Industries relying on high-pressure flow measurement include aerospace, marine propulsion, heavy engineering, offshore energy, and high-performance automotive manufacturing. In oil and gas applications, equipment must operate continuously under high pressure, high viscosity fluids, and aggressive chemical conditions.
Reliability depends on validation. Titan Enterprises operates a dedicated in-house pressure testing facility to verify mechanical integrity and long-term performance. Every stage of development and production is supported by rigorous testing to identify potential failure points early and ensure each meter is fit for purpose.
Using a Hydratron test rig capable of pressures up to 1,400 bar, Titan can test beyond the rated limits of its range, including meters designed for operation up to 950 bar. This supports product qualification and ongoing design refinement, improving robustness and performance margins.
Titan’s Oval Gear meters also deliver increasing accuracy with rising viscosity, achieving performance from approximately ±1% down to ±0.1% of reading. This makes them well suited to high-pressure dosing and lubrication systems.
With pressure ratings up to 950 bar, temperatures to 150°C, and ATEX-certified options, the range is designed for long service life in demanding environments.
Titan also works with OEM partners to develop customised flow measurement solutions for complex applications.
