Oil Refinery makes Popular Spectrophotometer Choice
Mar 24 2015
Spectronic Camspec was the winning choice for Total Lindsey Oil Refinery when selecting a new spectrophotometer. The fuel giant chose the M501 model manufactured by the Leeds based analytical instrument specialists. A spokesman for Total Lindsey Oil Refinery said the company was looking for a cost-effective reliable solution and the Camspec M501 ticked all the boxes.
It’s one of the most popular spectrophotometer on the market and widely used by labs for a diverse range of duties. As a high performance single beam scanning uv-vis spectrophotometer with a tactile keypad, 1/4vga display and a 2nm or 4nm band pass it is hugely versatile. Operators like its robustness as well as its accuracy and its readiness for use a short time after switch on. The non volatile memory can store up to thirty methods/results and its sample compartment is large enough to accommodate an eight cell changer and cells up to 100mm in length.
The full spec is on the Spectronic website which also offers 24/7 ordering of consumables
