A leading Caribbean brewery has ordered and installed a Camspec M508 Spectrophotometer to perform a number of analyses to enhance the overall quality of its products. The Trinidad based brewery produces many of the best known brands across the Caribbean, some of them global names reproduced locally. Desroy Tate of the Caribb Brewery said the analysis being undertaken includes diacetyl, colour and bitterness: “these checks are important to us as quality and consistency are our hallmarks and we need bitterness and colour to be correct and regular”.

Leeds based Spectronic Camspec is one of the UK’s largest independent laboratory instrument sales and service organisations. It manufactures the well known Camspec range of spectrophotometers and markets an extensive range of other market leading analytical instruments. Camspec spectrophotometers are in service across the world, preferred for their reliability, accuracy and easy maintenance.

Recently Spectronic Camspec added a range of consumables to the instruments on its website at www.spectronic.co.uk.
