Retsch planetary ball mills meet and exceed all requirements for fast and reproducible milling down to the nano range and are used whenever the highest levels of speed, fineness, purity and reproducibility are demanded. They pulverise and mix soft, medium-hard to extremely hard, brittle and fibrous materials and easily achieve final fineness down to the lower micron range and below where the physical characteristics of the sample allow. For wet milling techniques, final end fineness in the nanometre range are possible. In addition to classic milling protocols, the mills also meet all requirements for colloidal grinding and have the necessary energy input for mechanical alloying. Retsch offers a range of planetary ball mills to meet your needs from single station benchtop ball mills to a robust floor standing four station model.
