The Alliance IRIS represents an impressive advancement in molecular imaging, setting a new standard for sensitivity, precision, and ease of use. Designed for chemiluminescence and spectral fluorescence Western blots, the IRIS imaging system delivers unparalleled optical performance, making it the most advanced solution available for researchers needing high quality results.

At the core of the Alliance IRIS is it’s custom f/0.75 lens, which ensures exceptional light collection, enabling the detection of even the faintest signals at the femtogram level. The advanced optics, combined with a 30-megapixel resolution (9.2MP native) and a dynamic range of OD 4.8, provide researchers with clarity. Unlike traditional imaging systems that may compromise on sensitivity, the IRIS maximises detection capabilities whilst minimising noise through its sophisticated three-stage Peltier cooling system.

IRIS is built with researchers in mind. It’s fully automated, hands-free operation streamlines imaging workflows, allowing for effortless 1-click image acquisition. The intuitive interface and expansive 15.6-inch touchscreen ensure an immersive and user-friendly experience, eliminating the complexities often associated with molecular imaging. The system’s interchangeable tables and mobile sample tray eliminate repetitive sample handling, further enhancing efficiency in the lab.

Innovation is at the heart of the IRIS design. Unlike conventional white light, spot LED, or laser-based technologies that impose limitations on multiplexing, IRIS introduces an illumination system. With up to 12 customisable Chromascan module packs, researchers can tailor the system to their specific fluorescence imaging needs and upgrade effortlessly as their requirements evolve.

A key feature distinguishing IRIS from competitors is it’s ability to support true multiplexing with up to seven simultaneous fluorescence channels. The system’s confocal disc technology enhances signal capture, delivering superior fluorescence detection and reducing background interference. Additionally, the integration of Uvipure© technology enhances UV illumination for EtBr and all safe stains, further broadening the range of applications. Beyond it’s advanced technical specifications, the Alliance IRIS stands out for its robustness and sustainability. Constructed from stainless steel and incorporating recycled components, IRIS is built to last whilst supporting environmentally conscious laboratory practices.

IRIS is more than just an imaging system; it is a trusted laboratory companion designed to evolve alongside the needs of researchers. Its fully upgradable plug-and-play architecture ensures that laboratories can continuously expand their imaging capabilities without investing in entirely new systems. Further, with its seamless combination of innovation, automation, and advanced optical technology, the Alliance IRIS represents a step forward in imaging excellence. For its revolutionary design, outstanding sensitivity, and unwavering commitment to advancing scientific research, the Alliance IRIS is a truly deserving nominee for the Labmate Award for Excellence in Imaging and Optics.
